"See
the Isle from Mid Isle"
Located halfway between Borden-Carleton (at the exit of
Confederation Bridge) and Summerside on Route 1A. It
is a 30 minute drive to Cavendish (Anne's Land), 45 minutes to Charlottetown and
10 minutes to the nearest sand beach.

Situated in the eastern corner of Prince County, the locale called Central Bedeque is located in
Lot 26. The origin of the name is unknown. Former names were Weatherbie's Corner
and Strong's Corner. The location established a post office in 1884. The area,
Mount Stowe, became the school district in 1864. Central Bedeque was established
as a civic address community in 2000.
